Seekers of Truth
What do we mean when we say, “We are seekers of truth.”? We know that our perception
of truth is not an immutable thing. The truth we perceive depends on our perspective. How
we view things in space and time may not be the whole picture. We must be open to accept
the possibility that we cannot see the total reality from our present perspective. But we
are evolving and we want to grow. We want to better understand the total reality so our
perspective becomes more revealing and more meaningful. That is what we mean by a greater
or deeper awareness. That awareness comes from much more than what we can observe. We
are a living energetic organism in a sea of energy, and energy is information. Therefore to see
more fully and more deeply we must rely on our innate ability to sense, to intuit, to commune
with that energy of which we are a part. That's what noetic knowledge is; a direct knowing,
without discursive reasoning.
There appears to be an implicate or underlying order. In our ordinary state of mind we
cannot perceive the holism of that order. What we see is an incomplete truth. From a deeper
perspective more of that holistic order becomes visible to us and our everyday order appears to
be an illusion. It is this enlightenment that inspires us to be seekers of truth. We begin with
deep learning.
